I can't believe we've gone this long without starting a beer thread. I enjoyed the one on the old board and actually tried some of the beverages that were liked by others.

I've discovered that I really like Sam Adams Oktoberfest. I've never enjoyed the Boston Lager but this Oktoberfest is good stuff. I also finally tried Yeungling Black & Tan. Also very good.

Some of the recent beers I've had:

Rind Over Matter by Bell's - For a beer that states is has both lemon and orange zest, I thought the citrus flavor would be me more pronounced, but it isn't. It's okay.

8 Track Amber by Real Ale Brewing - A completely average beer. Not much else to say about it.

Spring Bock by Saint Arnold - Saint Arnold has just never had a beer I've loved. This is a fine bock, but still don't love it.

Mermaids & Unicorns Mythical Blonde Ale by True Vine - This one had a sharpness to it, that you don't usually find in blonde beers. I thought it was pretty good. I would get it again.

PB and Jams by Abita - This is a limited edition beer. It has absolutely no right to taste good, but I really like it. You can taste the peanut butter and jelly flavors. Its very odd. I don't think Jeff would like this one.

"I don't think Jeff would like this one."

I know he wouldn't. ;)
