Ok, how about this for an idea. We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day. This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent. What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme. I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A". Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B". The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man". However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S". Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes. So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.

One for number 32. (I don't recall ever seeing a manga volume with a split cover.) This one features Hero-Hunter Garou in one of the many forms he "evolved" through in his quest to becoe powerful enough to defeat Saitama.
Amazing Spider-Man #59. The trick on this cover is the curtain that serves as a panel divider. Future husband and wife, though neither knew that yet.

Amazing Spider-Man #38 went on sale in April of 1966, as did Strange Tales #146. It contained Ditko’s last story of Doctor Strange and also had an assembled cover from that last story.
Ditko was already working for the Charlton (for years) and start-up Tower before leaving Marvel. His first published work for DC was Showcase #73 (on sale in January 1968) introducing The Creeper. Hawk and Dove debuted in Showcase #75, on sale in April 1968, two years after he left Marvel.
I was almost 100% Marvel by that time and Charlton as far I remember weren't widely distributed in our area of the UK.
So Ditko completely dropped off my radar, in my naive preteen I imagination I assumed he'd just quit comics.I wonder if I had spotted his books in the spinner rack I'd have picked them up.
I was heavily invested in the Marvel characters by then so probably not.
In 1966 Ditko was also working for Dell: Nukla, Get Smart, Hogan's Heroes
I like the fact that it was turned into a movie.
