Ok, how about this for an idea.  We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day.  This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent.  What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme.  I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A".  Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B".  The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man".  However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S".  Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes.  So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.

And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.

If everyone's in agreement I'd like to kick this off with one of my favourite Action Comic covers, from January 1967. Curt Swan really excelled himself here.

...I only read one Dr. Pat story, many years ago, during DC's 48-page period. Have any ever been reprinted elsewhere?.

According to the GCD (see here) there were a total of 13 "Dr. Pat" stories published in Sensation Comics #94 (Nov-Dec 1949) to #106 (Nov-Dec 1951).  The first two of the series were reprinted in Lois Lane #116 (Nov 1971) and #118 (Jan 1972)

There is this Flash (second) honeymoon cover

The topic seems to have switched to whether or not Flash is appropriate at a wedding.

Here's the Valentine topic, Reloaded:

And bonus movie which may or may not have any connection to the comic, but features a superhero in any case:

I think the possibility of having "Weddings" as a theme for some future month is now well and truly sunk.  Sad face.  Oh, well.

Here's another Flash cover that, though it doesn't depict a wedding or honeymoon, does still fit with this month's theme.

Following JD's example, back on-topic with a person called Valentine.

Now that's a scary bunch of kids!

Another character named Valentine.

Here are a few more “wedding” covers, including a trilogy of Hulk ones. I posted the alternate cover of Hulk #418 once before (with the lace heart overlay), but below is the standard one.

Unlike the previous Legion weddings of Bouncing Boy & Duo Damsel and Lightning Lad & Saturn Girl, Karate Kid and Queen Projectra was featured on the cover.
