Ok, how about this for an idea. We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day. This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent. What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme. I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A". Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B". The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man". However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S". Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes. So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.
If everyone's in agreement I'd like to kick this off with one of my favourite Action Comic covers, from January 1967. Curt Swan really excelled himself here.

Although he was much hetter known as a cartoonist, Dr. Tezuka was an MD as well, so this fits the theme, if just barely. I wanted to use a cover from one of his medical-themed manga, but oddly enough, I couldn't find a cover that depicted a "medical" theme or situation, or that featured someone who was obviously a doctor. This book is a biogrsphy of Tezuka, told in manga form.
Here's one of the covers I posted during December's "Robots and Cyborgs" month which gave me the idea of suggesting this month's theme.
ROFLMAO!
FWIW, that's not a paramedic; it's Dr. Don Blake. Wonder if that fist thumping will work on Iron Man? :)

Spinner Rack Adventures. The time is July 1963. The young collector only has 12 cents. The dilemma: some new title that looks interesting, X-Men #1, or the latest issue of Dr. Kildare. Ah, I’ll go with Dr. Kildare #7, washing your hands and scrubbing up, you can’t beat that for excitement. I’ll never regret this choice.
Well guys, it's great to be back! New month, new theme. And boy do I have some beauts.
Apologies in advance if I duplicate anyone else's covers this month; I'm going to do my best to avoid it. However there are a plethora of covers out there, so this month should be a walk in the park. Am going to try mainly to concentrate on romance covers, but I may let some superhero ones in later. Here's a beauty to start: "Diagnosis: Heartbreak!"
Before I post my first cover for February, a couple of quick responses in regards to yesterday's comments.
January 31 was still technically Trial/Courts month and I've yet to find a medical doctor facing malpractice or any other legal issues, so I thought a Time Lord would do. As for the "Trial of the Valeyard" audio book Jeff of Earth-J mentioned, I was totally unaware of this and will certainly look for it now but even so, the BBC only considers the main series and a few online webisodes canon, hence my comment about the plot point.
Now then, courtesy of the Grand Comics Database...
"The BBC only considers the main series and a few online webisodes canon"
Not so! Even the BBC has acknowledged the audios (in "The Night of the Doctor," at 5:34). Whereas your assertion may not be technically wrong, it is wrong-headed. Big Finish takes great pains to ensure none of their audios contradict canon, and I defy you to find a single instance of one which does. Put another way, who cares what the BBC considers "canon"? And "The Trial of the Valeyard" is not merely an audiobook, it is a full-cast audio drama.
