It's confirmed: Wolverine is coming back from the dead. So are Jean Grey And Prof. X (although I haven't heard much about the latter lately).
I guess Cyclops is the only one who'll stay dead. Figures.

They should bring Wolvie back as a zombie, then reveal that version to be a zombie clone and bring back the real version, and have a big fight between the two of them.
Wolvie's scarring experiences have caused him to reject violence and become a pacifist who likes flowers and poetry. He has this inner peace now that he never knew before. When you stop hunting bunnies, you learn to appreciate their true beauty. He has six now. He still uses his claws, but only as a chef.
Charles Xavier will return, but as a rejuvenated hipster-type who refers to himself, and asks others to call him, "Charlie X." This will prove to be the first step in the integration of the Marvel and Star Trek continuities.

For now.
Give it time. Personally, I'm amused that anyone thought that any of those characters would stay dead.
Well, if Professor X does come back, he'll be missing his brain!

"There's a dead X-Man on the landing!"

Well they HAVE to bring Professor X back before Cyclops to absolve Scott of the Professor's murder!
Marketing rules all. But then again they know it, and yet they still make a big deal out of a characters death.
