Warner Bros. unveils life-sized bronze Wonder Woman statue in Burbank

Here's the earlier Batman statue

Story

In this weekend's antiquing expedition, I found 3 Bomba, the Jungle Boy books. I can't recall if I've ever seen any before.

I did not purchase them.

In another store, I saw this radio. Notice that the numbers on the "dial" are in descending order rather than the usual ascending.

Someday, I would really like to restore, and maybe modify, some old radios.

Happy Vernal Equinox Day!

And thank you for your support.

Shazam 2 is Sha-thud – is the Rock to blame?

Story

It occurs to me that a Black Adam movie without Captain Marvel Shazam is very much like a Venom movie without Spider-Man.

Cocktail party knowledge: If your clock runs slightly fast when the mainspring is tightly wound and slightly slow when it's winding down, that is known as isochronal error. Now you know.

On a related note, my "atomic" clock has not advanced an hour for Daylight Saving Time yet. I moved it from the wall to the window yesterday afternoon, but it did not reset overnight.

My first atomic clock (which I've had for about 20 years) still keeps time, but I've needed to set it manually for about 10 years now. I don't think it updates at all anymore, much less accounts for DST. My newer atomic clock does account for DST automatically, yet there's a button on back which advances or retards the time by an hour when pressed.
