Home Entertainment on Digital starting August 23, 2020, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack on September 8, 2020.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (USA $39.99 SRP; Canada $44.98 SRP) and Blu-ray Combo Pack (USA $24.98 SRP; Canada $29.98 SRP) as well as on Digital. The Blu-ray Combo Pack features a Blu-ray disc with the film in hi-definition, a DVD with the film in standard definition, and a digital version of the movie.

It’s the dawn of a new age of heroes, and Metropolis has just met its first. But as Daily Planet intern Clark Kent – working alongside reporter Lois Lane – secretly wields his alien powers of flight, super-strength and x-ray vision in the battle for good, there's even greater trouble on the horizon. Follow the budding hero as he engages in bloody battles with intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo and fights for his life to halt the attack of power-hungry alien Parasite. The world will learn about Superman … but first, Superman must save the world!

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Darren Criss (Glee, American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace) and Emmy nominee Zachary Quinto (Star Trek franchise, Heroes) lead a star-studded cast as the voices of Superman/Clark Kent and Lex Luthor, respectively. The cast also includes Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas, Baywatch, All My Children) as Lois Lane, Brett Dalton (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as Parasite/Rudy Jones, Ryan Hurst (The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Remember the Titans) as Lobo, Ike Amadi (Mass Effect 3, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge) as Martian Manhunter, Neil Flynn (The Middle, Scrubs) as Jonathan Kent, Bellamy Young (Scandal, Prodigal Son) as Martha Kent, Cristina Milizia (DC Super Hero Girls) as Maya, Petey & Kaylie, Eugene Byrd (Bones, LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures) as Ron Troupe, April Stewart (South Park) as Mrs. Ross, and Piotr Michael (The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle) as Perry White, as well as Cissy Jones (Firewatch) and David Chen (Gotham).

Superman: Man of Tomorrow introduces a new producing vision to the DC Universe Movies series, which now numbers 41 films over its 13 years of existence. Supervising Producer Butch Lukic has a rich pedigree in DC animated productions, serving as producer on Constantine: City of Demons, Justice League Action and the Batman Unlimited franchise, as well as directing episodes of Justice League, Batman Beyond and Beware the Batman. Lukic brings a new visual aesthetic to Superman: Man of Tomorrow that departs from the animation styles – of previous producers Bruce Timm (23 films) and James Tucker (17 films) – thus far represented in the DC Universe Movies.

Chris Palmer (Voltron: Legendary Defender) is the director of Superman: Man of Tomorrow, utilizing a script by Tim Sheridan (The Death of Superman). Producers are Jim Krieg (Batman: Gotham by Gaslight) and Kimberly S. Moreau (Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Executive Producer is Sam Register.

“Superman: Man of Tomorrow is an inspiring retelling of the DC Universe Movies’ backstory for The Man of Steel, taking the audience to his early days as an intern at the Daily Planet – and his beginnings as a learning-on-the-job DC Super Hero,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Senior Vice President, Originals, Animation and Family Marketing. “Darren Criss and Zachary Quinto have wholeheartedly embraced their roles as Superman and Lex Luthor for this film, and the end result is a special addition to canon of films that every Superman fan will want to add to their collection.”

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons Blu-ray

BURBANK, CA – Go behind the mask and into the deep backstory of one of DC’s most revered anti-heroes in Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons, a new entry in the popular series of DC Animated Movies. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Blue Ribbon Content and DC, the feature-length animated film will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital starting August 4, 2020, and on Blu-ray Combo Pack on August 18, 2020.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack (USA $24.98 SRP; Canada $29.98 SRP), which features a Blu-ray disc with the film in hi-definition, a DVD with the film in standard definition, and a digital version of the movie.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons offers a new take on the Deathstroke legacy. Mercenary and master assassin Slade Wilson leads two lives: one as the relentless killer known as Deathstroke, and the other as a dedicated family man. When these worlds collide, forced together by the vicious terror group known as H.I.V.E., it is the killer in Slade who must fight to save his loved ones, as well as what remains of himself. With his soul torn apart and his young son held captive, Deathstroke will have to atone for the sins of his past to fuel the battles of his future!

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Michael Chiklis (The Shield, The Commish, American Horror Story: Freak Show) headlines the cast as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, alongside Sasha Alexander (Rizzoli & Isles, Shameless, NCIS) as Wilson’s wife, Adeline “Addie” Kane Wilson. The cast also includes Chris Jai Alex (ThunderCats Roar, Extraction) as The Jackal, Faye Mata (League of Legends) as Jade/H.I.V.E Queen, Griffin Puatu (Beastars) as Joseph/Jericho, Imari Williams (Transformers: Rescue Bots, LEGO DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters) as President Nichols, Asher Bishop (The Angry Birds Movie 2) as Young Joseph, Colin Salmon (Krypton, Arrow, Die Another Day) as William Wintergreen, Delbert Hunt (Bad Henry) as Bronze Tiger, Panta Mosleh (Always Be My Maybe, Pass The Salt) as Lady Shiva, and Noshir Dalal (Red Dead Redemption II) as Kapoor, Castulo Guerra (The Usual Suspects, Jane The Virgin) as General Suarez, and Minae Noji (General Hospital) as Secretary of State.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons has been produced in a dual format – initially as animated shorts, the first five of which appeared on CW Seed. With a runtime of 87 minutes, the feature-length Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons film has nearly 50 minutes of never-before-seen content, including the film’s thrilling climax. The film is rated R for bloody violence/gore, language, disturbing images, and some sexual content.

Sung Jin Ahn (Niko and the Sword of Light) directs the film from a script by J.M. DeMatteis (Superman: Red Son, Batman: Bad Blood). Sam Register, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter serve as executive producers.

“Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons gives DC Animated Movies’ their first true look into the complicated backstory of one of DC’s most controversial characters – Deathstroke is sometimes villain, sometimes anti-hero, and always deadly,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Senior Vice President, Originals, Animation and Family Marketing. “Michael Chiklis does an incredible job capturing the ruthless approach and conflicted internal struggles of Deathstroke.”

MUSIC

WaterTower Music is excited to announce new releases available on Friday, August 21, for two fan-favorite DC/Warner Bros. Television series: Lucifer: Seasons 1-5 (Original Television Soundtrack) (https://lnk.to/LuciferPR) and DC’s Stargirl: Season 1 (Original Television Score) (https://lnk.to/DCStargirlPR). The WaterTower Music releases are available at all platforms now, as well as the online store at DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes on Saturday, August 22.

Lucifer: Seasons 1-5 (Original Television Soundtrack) features 13 songs from the first five seasons of the devilish drama, featuring performances by series stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German and Lesley Ann-Brandt, as well as guest star Lindsey Gort and performer Skye Townsend. Recently renewed for a sixth and final season, Lucifer’s fifth season premieres Friday, August 21, on Netflix.

Lucifer composers Jeff Russo and Ben Decter relished the opportunity to tap the musical skills of the cast in performing a number of classic and contemporary standards: “Getting to record amazing songs with a fantastically talented cast is a rare experience. And creating this Lucifer soundtrack album was a treat. If only every cast were as fun! We feel lucky.”

Series star Tom Ellis, who plays the title character, was equally enthusiastic: “The music of Lucifer has been one of the main reasons I have loved playing this role. It rekindles my passion for singing, which ironically started in church when I was a child. Funny old world, isn’t it?”

DC’s Stargirl: Season 1 (Original Television Score) features 22 tracks from the debut season of the hit series. Recently wrapping its first season on both The CW and DC UNIVERSE, DC’s Stargirl was recently renewed for a second season exclusively on The CW. Based on the character created by Geoff Johns, DC’s Stargirl features an epic score by the award-winning film and television composer Pinar Toprak, who received her first Primetime Emmy® nomination this year for her work on HBO’s McMillions.

“I’m a huge fan of show creator Geoff Johns and everything he’s done,” remarked Toprak. “When we met, the way he talked about Courtney, the character, and his vision for DC’s Stargirl really touched my heart. Obviously, I love this genre to begin with, so it was a no-brainer to compose the score. Working with Geoff was just one of the best experiences of my career, to be honest.”

Lucifer: Seasons 1-5 (Original Television Soundtrack) and DC’s Stargirl: Season 1 (Original Television Score) will be available on August 21, 2020, from WaterTower Music.

About DC’s Stargirl

The new Super Hero series DC’s STARGIRL follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series that focuses on the character that started creator Geoff Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion. Also starring Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Hunter Sansone, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, Christopher James Baker, with Amy Smart and Luke Wilson, the first season of DC’s Stargirl was executive produced by Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Melissa Carter, Greg Beeman and Sarah Schechter. Created for television by Johns, the series is produced by Berlanti Productions and Mad Ghost Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

About Lucifer Composer Ben Decter

Emmy®-winning composer and songwriter Ben Decter has created a diverse body of music for television and film. Decter’s Emmy® resulted from his score for the Academy Award®-nominated documentary Operation Homecoming. In addition to Lucifer, Decter’s other recent projects include Bless This Mess, Lethal Weapon, Shadowhunters, and Shut Eye.

The range of his work includes the lush, orchestral score to the Shonda Rhimes ABC drama Off the Map and the procedural drama CSI: Cyber. In recent years, Decter’s music has been an integral part of NFL Films. He also scored the Emmy®-nominated Peter Jennings/ABC News Special celebrating Martin Luther King’s March on Washington. Another highlight was co-creating the score to We Live in Public, the 2009 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winner.

Born in Manhattan, and raised in New Jersey, Decter graduated from Harvard University, where he majored in political science. Although Decter currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and MMA-loving daughter, his son has reversed this migration and is currently studying in New York.

Their debut album, “Lemon Parade,” posted three singles in the U.S. Mainstream rock charts’ Top 10, with “If You Could Only See” rocketing to number one. In 2003, the band received two Grammy nominations, one for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for “Take Me As I Am,” and one for “Best Rock Album.”

New York, NY – The Earth will tremble under his jade fist! Almost 30 years after the landmark story Future Imperfect, legendary INCREDIBLE HULK scribe Peter David returns to the far-future version of the Hulk known as Maestro – the master of what remains of the world. With astounding art from HULK veteran Dale Keown and rising star Germán Peralta, MAESTRO will answer questions that have haunted Hulk fans for years – and inspire some new ones along the way.

“I had no idea that when I first created the Maestro for Future Imperfect, that he would have the kind of popularity and staying power he has now,” recounts Peter David. “Until now, I’ve only been able to allude to his origins, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to explore them in this series, and I can’t wait for fans to see all the artwork that's been coming in!”

Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski shares David’s enthusiasm for the series, and elaborates on what it means for Marvel Comics as a whole. “We couldn't be more excited that we're resuming distribution of Marvel Comics to the best fans in the world. As we’ve announced, we will be observing a balanced release schedule over the next few weeks as the industry returns to normal – but we're hard at work on many more new stories like this one, and we can’t wait to tell you all more about them! Expect more announcements very soon.”

How does Earth fall and Maestro rise? What happens to the world’s heroes? And what does fate have in store for Bruce Banner and the Hulk? Find out in MAESTRO #1 when it smashes its way into comic shops this August!

Shadow Service #1

Missoula, MT: Vault Comics is thrilled to announce SHADOW SERVICE, a dark and magical new series co-created by writer Cavan Scott and artist Corin M. Howell, with colors by Triona Farrell, letters by Andworld Design, and design by Tim Daniel.

Worried your partner is cheating? Need a missing person found? Gina Meyers is the Private Investigator for you. Sure, she’s a witch who worries that her powers make her more of a monster than the crooks she’s trying to catch, but it’s not like London’s criminal underworld is literally going to hell… is it? This is SHADOW SERVICE. Spy craft meets black magic in the shadowy world of MI666.

"After watching The Omen one dark and stormy night, I first scrawled down the name: MI666," said series writer and co-creator, Cavan Scott. "It made me laugh. It still does. And for years I came up with story ideas for Britain’s shadow security service, protecting Queen and Country from things that go bump in the night. But I could never make them stick," he continued.  "I was still thinking about this years later, walking home from the cinema, airpods crammed into my ears. VCTRY’s cover of ‘Black Magic Woman’ shuffled its way onto one of my playlists and I realized I didn’t want a Bond at all. I didn’t want a blunt instrument, jaded after years in the field. I needed a new recruit, drafted into the service, someone who definitely wasn’t a team player, someone who didn’t know spycraft but … witchcraft. Gina Meyer was born. I hurried home and all those years of storylines and influences flowed into the pitch that I immediately sent to Adrian Wassel at Vault. I knew he would fall under Gina’s spell and lose himself in MI666’s world of assassination, intrigue, betrayal and demons. And I was right. Shadow Service is the result, brought so vividly to life by that mistress of the dark arts, Corin M Howell.

SHADOW SERVICE #1 will debut with a Pulp & Paint B cover by Nathan Gooden & Tim Daniel.
