Boom's Disney Properties

So Boom Studios has been doing well so far with its Disney-licensed comics. The Muppet Show, The Incredibles, Cars are all out now... They'll be doing Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck books soon... So what other Disney properties would you like to see them tackle? For myself, I could get behind comics of the following: Nightmare Before Christmas — I love those characters, and would love to see further adventures of Jack, Sally, Lock, Stock & Barrel, and the rest. Don't even need the crossovers with other holidays (at least, not often)...just more of those crazy characters. Pirates of the Caribbean — Well, this one just seems a no-brainer. Honey I Shrunk the Kids — In the right hands, this could be a fun one. Monsters Inc. — Just 'cause.

  • Toy Story came out last week and Monsters, Inc. begins next month, I believe...

Good God...they need to produce a Princess comic...it would sell, maybe not in the direct market, but it would sell...
  • Huh. Toy Story is still listed as "coming soon" on the Boom site, and I obviously missed the mention of Monsters Inc...
  • Well...I read issue one of Toy Story to the girls last week...so I know it's out. :)
  • I like your Honey I Shrunk the Kids idea. I loved that movie as a kid.
  • I think something with the Jungle Book, Lion King, and/or Little Mermaid characters would fly. As these would take place in interesting settings.
