Anybody else watching the new Battlestar Galactica spinoff/ prequel?  I finally got around to watching the pilot and the first two regular episodes while snowed in this weekend, and it looks like it might be shaping up to be as good as its parent series.

 

The pilot didn't grab me as quickly as the way the BSG mini-series did, but by the end of the most recent episode I was hooked.

I'm loving it. It's very different in tone and scope from BSG, but I think that's part of what I like about it. The political, moral and religious overtones are there, but there's more family and intercultural drama there. And, I have to say, I don't know where they're headed, which I like...
