I haven't been to Comic Con in person in a dozen years but I still enjoy a lot of the news, interviews and announcements that came out of it.
So what was your favorite new project or news tidbit announced at Comic Con?
Movie wise, I have to say I'm most excited about Ant Man. Yeah, I didn't think I would write that either.
Comic book wise, it's definitely the new Image line-up. Image announced a boatload of new books with some big name creators attached. Even though I love my Big Two superheroes, it's exciting to see so many creator owned projects get off the ground.
Among the titles I'm interested in:
Pretty Deadly, a classic western by Kelly Sue De Connick and Emma Rios
Lazarus, a dystopian future by Greg Rucka and Michael Lark
Reign, by Chris Roberson
and Point of Impact, by Jay Faerber
