So -  I know I've only been here a week, but I thought I might be able to brighten up everyone's lives a little with a new thread devoted to comical cartoons based around superheroes. I have loads of funny material that I've picked up over the years. If anyone else would like to contribute please feel free to join in.

I'll start with some of my faves...

Not quite sure if this counts as the same as 'comic cuts' but I also love parody covers. This one was apparently a depiction of X-Men #1, 2 minutes after the original scene on the original cover.  Priceless!

Ha - love the "terrible twos"...!

That actually happened on a TV episode once.

Another two seaside staples, not sure if you have Punch and Judy Shows in the USA. It's basically an extremely violent children's puppet show! I've also developed a greater respect for the skill of comicbook lettering since doing these.

Ace @MethodEng - I'd love to receive seaside postcards like these!

These are this years postcards. Previous ones were sketched in a hour during rainy afternoons. These two I tried to make as good as I possibly could. Once again the hardest part was the placement and lettering of the word balloons!

Not sure what I'm going to do next year. I'm pretty much out of seaside related ideas.
