What about the often-told ~ favle?? ~ of comics shops that deal with not wanting to order something little-known by simply teeling you that something that is published and available is not available, does not exist? Has anyone here ever run into thiis?

I once saw someone's comment on the Internet, IIRC, invoking this ~ and justifying it. " Who cares, dude? " : That Evan Dorkin ETTINGVILE LCLUB (was that its name? His parody of " bad " comics shops/fans) mini=series that was never completed ~?? ~ from Dark Horse a few years ago joked about it - And, if you remember that quiote prominent Arkansas comic-shop owned who was a panelist in later-years COMIC BUYER'S GUIDE- He, in CBG, once announced that he did it!!! - And DEFENDED it!!!!!:-0 NOT refusing to order something he didn't like or whatever, but LYING about the project's existence, saying it wans't published rather than just saying " No. I won't order it. " (or saying it wasn't orderable by comics shops when it was ~ and, presumably profitably so, if ordered). I can see no justification for this lying whatsoever. Period. What say you?
