  • It looks like they're peeling a band-aid off a "C."

  • It's kinda dull to me.

  • I think there's a bit of cleverness to it -- the break int he C looks a bit like a panel border, giving the impression of opening a comic book. But it doesn't really appeal to me. Maybe it'll grow on me? I like the swoosh, and that took some getting used to, too.

  • Wow. Ugly.

Maybe it will look better with some color, but B&W it's awful.

  • According to the article on Comic Book Resources, it is suspected that the logo is supposed to be animated, hence the "peeling effect" and used in other media, for an alternate version says DC Entertainment on the bottom, not DC Comics.

Their article is based only upon a filing at the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, and not any official statement from DC itself.

But who the heck monitors the U.S. Patent and Trademark office for stuff like that anyway?

  • If it's animated for DC entertainment, that's cool.

If it's going to appear on comic books, it'll take some getting used to.

  • I think it's alright.

  • I thought they just came up with a new logo a few years ago????? This new one is CRAP!

  • I don't get the concept. Why is the D peeling to show a C? It's an odd time to try invoking an animated page turning just as books become so 27 seconds ago.
