Here's the story in USA Today:

I've been hanging onto the DC train for years waiting for a clear opportunity to jump off, and here it is. Anything they publish from that point on, I'll read the reviews and, if it seems like something I'll like, I'll buy in trade paperback. I've been waiting for the classic Justice League lineup to return, and that's happening, so I'll get that. My son has been a Green Lantern fan all his life, so I'll continue to get those titles for him. Unless Manhunter from Mars or Adam Strange get their own series, we'll just have to wait and see what else they do.

The first 10 titles: So far, so good!

"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." -Groucho Marx

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! Comics and Games for Everyone!

I used to listen to WOXY.com; It was the future of rock-n-roll! RIP WOXY

For me Justice League, Aquaman, Firestorm, and Wonder Woman look good.

There's a second DC post abut the big boom on The Source, which was also sent out as a press release. Which I have duly posted as a press release:

 DC announces more #1 titles

From Bleeding Cool: Duane Swierczynski will be writing a Batman ongoing comic for DC, with issue 1 starting in September.

OK, so there's one I don't have to buy. ;)
I will check out the Mr. Terrific book.

Wasn't he one of the "Super Fans" on SNL? The one played by George Wendt, maybe?
Nice.  ;)
I'd actually be interested in that Batman comic, I liked his work on Iron Fist.

Said a cat suffocating in Squaresville,

"I have moved to the wide-open-airsville!

Cuz those mags from DC

Set me off on a spree!

They are strictly from None-Can-Comparesville!"

So far it is just Justice League International for me with a "maybe" on the regular Justice League book.
Does it look to anyone else like Diana's tiara, necklace, armlet and bodice would dig painfully into her flesh every time she  moved? (I have the same complaint about the Bucky Barnes Captain America costume, which has a metal point aimed at his lower G.I./crotch. Don't crouch down, Bucky, or you'll be singing soprano!)

More info from DC today:

On Wednesday, August 31st, DC Comics will make publishing history again with their first-ever comic book combo pack. Each issue of JUSTICE LEAGUE, by New York Times bestselling writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and bestselling artist and DC Comics Co-Publisher Jim Lee, will be available in a convenient combo pack including a print edition and digital version of the comic book.

Those who want a physical copy of JUSTICE LEAGUE to read and collect, as well as the ability to download it onto their favorite device for easy transport, get ready. Each print edition of the comic book and an individual code for digital download will be wrapped in a poly bag and available for $4.99. Separately, the standard version will retail for $3.99 and the digital version will retail for $3.99.

“As we continue to expand our readership and make our titles more accessible to readers everywhere, we’re excited to provide our comic shop retail partners and their consumers with multiple formats of JUSTICE LEAGUE in one convenient place,” said John Rood, EVP Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

Not only will Johns and Lee be collaborating for the first time, but their contemporary take on the origin of the comic book industry’s premier superhero team will be available in DC Comics’ historic first comic book combo pack.

Both digital and print editions of DC’s comics will have parity pricing for the first four weeks of release; thereafter, the digital titles drop in price down to our standard 1.99 digital price point. Oversized issues, including JUSTICE LEAGUE #1, will start at $3.99 and drop to $2.99 after four weeks.
