I've been far too busy to pay attention, but in Pandora and Batwoman today there were the 'five year ahead' notices for the next issues, does that mean that the storylines I've been following are now in the scrap heap permanently and they'll pick up with new storylines five years later in the next issue or just that they'll be interrupted and picked up after FE is over?

  • I have no idea, but I'd just like to say that "Pandora and Batwoman" would be a cool name for a law firm.

"At Pandora & Batwoman, we will get you your money."

  • I ask mainly because Batwoman just ended with a cliffhanger and the next issue will be five years later.

  • I believe it is just a one month gimmick for next month.

  • That's a relieve. I'm curious to see where Batwoman is going.

  • Or a detective show following Starsky and Hutch.

  • Yeah, 5 Years Later is just this year's September event. Things will be back to normal in October.

  • Interesting how it's always five years, like the gap between Action and Superman. That's how long it's always been assumed the average fan will stay with comics.

  • As far as I know, DC first did the "Five Years Later" stunt (using those very words) with the Legion after Levitz left.

  • It's also how long they expected kids to watch Saturday morning cartoons, at least until the FCC killed them off made them educational.
