Drag Me to Hell

This is not a request. This is, however, the title of the new Sam Raimi film. I typically don't like to watch a lot of films dealing with hell and demons and whatnot but this is Sam Raimi doing horror, how could I pass it up? This is a fun, scary movie. And since this is a Sam Raimi horror, there's a few funny moments. Not as many as in Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness, this film is more serious than those. But I still laughed at times, it helped to ease the tension. This is one for the Raimi fans out there, you won't be dissapointed.

  • It tickles me that Up and Drag Me to Hell opened on the same weekend. Talk about movies that go in very different directions. :)
  • I'm glad to hear this is good; I'm thinking of asking Kathy if she's interested in this one...
  • And it beat Terninator this weekend! I'm trying to organize a guys' movie night for this one in a couple of weeks...
  • I think you guys will like this. I've seen comments by long-time Raimi fans saying they laughed all the way through. I didn't think it was that funny. It has it's moments, that's for sure. But to me this pretty scary thoughout. There a few scenes that are disturbing. I scare easy though. Also because of the subject matter and the fact I had a weird feeling the rest of the weekend I probably won't be seeing it again. Don't let that deter you. I had a fun time seeing this and it was very well made and acted. One time was enough for me though.
