  • I don't think so, no so as it would only show the groups the person clicking it belongs to. You can, however, see only your groups on your profile page. I believe the default position is bottom left on the page, and you can move to any number of different places, including top center, if that's what you want to do.

Yeah, I knew that. I was just hoping there was a quicker way to get to "My Groups" without going to "My Page" or the "Groups" page first. Just a little short cut, I guess I could just make my own bookmark to it.
  • What do you have to do to images to make them fit in the Groups and Calendar boxes? I just linked to a Vertigo logo which came out huge, even though the original image isn't that large. Same thing happened when I put a HeroesCon logo on the calendar entry.

Not helpful at all, but I like the way the pic looks in the group.

    Did you try resizing it?

I haven't, but I didn't have much luck doing that with the HeroesCon logo. I'd like to know what Ning is expecting before I spend any more time on it.
  • Is it possible to create a group that only members of that group can see the internal postings? Also, is it possible to limit the number of members of a group?

I ask because I'm working out a forum-based game concept that would be helped by those conditions.

I don't think so. It is possible to create a group where the membership is moderated. This would, I presume, require a moderator to do the inviting or at least accept/deny requests for joining. I don't think you can hide discussions from the Legion at large, though. Rich?
  • I just now (while checking in on The Pointless Room) discovered the fact that it only shows the top 3 threads in each group as a default. Is there a way to change the default to "show all"?

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! It's a pretty lame website, but I did it myself, so tough noogies

Listen to WOXY.com, it's the future of rock-n-roll!
