iZombie Season Two debuts tonight!

Rob Staeger said

I don't think we had a thread for this show last year, but iZombie is a terrific comic-based show brought to TV by the folks behind Veronica Mars. The new season starts tonight on the CW, and if it's handled with the wit and charm of last season, it should continue to be one of the most entertaining shows on TV.

Did anyone else watch season 1? It took a lot of liberties from the Roberson/Allred comic, but managed to make a terrific show out of the core that remained.

My wife and I watched season one and enjoyed it quite a bit. Like The Flash, season 2 begins tonight. After devouring Buffy the Vampire Slayer I watched and enjoyed Veronica Mars. The iZombie show has a similar feel to Veronica Mars.

Anyone not watching these because "they are for girls" is really cheating himself.

I think we did have a thread last year. Either way, though, here we go with Season Two!

Yay!  iZombie was my favorite show last year.

If anyone can find the season one thread, let's link it here for posterity. So far I've had no luck in my search.

Well, there's THIS ...

Then there's the Comic-Con highlight reel, which I posted in a couple of places:

And I posted info on the first season's release on DVD (Sept. 29).

Yeah, I don't think there was an actual season one thread. Cap's posted Tribune article was probably the closest we came.

Just watched the first new episode. Just as good as last year. The story is moving forward.

Tuesday's episode had this wonderfully crazy crime scene tape dress on Liv.

I loved that dress. My U-Verse receiver was still out of commission on Tuesday night, so I watched the episode by streaming it from the CW site. The streaming didn't go very well, although it was good enough to follow the story. One interesting side effect of the bad streaming was occasional freeze-frame while the streaming video caught up to the audio. My picture froze on Liv during several interrogation scenes at the frat, and her "bro" facial expressions were priceless.

It's fun to watch her basically play different characters every week, depending on which brains she samples.
