Last I saw of him was the action figure guest spot on Big Bang Theory.  He was more than Spock but Spock is what he'll be remembered for.

I think it was last week that he went to the hospital with chest pains. He had returned home which is apparently where he died. He'll be greatly missed.

Here's a brief obituary from the L.A. Times. They promise a full obituary later.

We're losing them fast.

Rest in peace, Mr. Nimoy, and thank you for all the memories.

He made math and logic cool and created an archetype.  When someone calls you a 'Mr. Spock' almost everyone knows what they mean.

I remember being shocked as a kid to see Spock on Mission: Impossible!

So many memories.......

Might watch Journey to Babel tonight on the Blue Ray.

Oh, man. This is sad. He seemed like a really good guy.

He didn't look well in that Audi commercial. How long ago was it filmed?

Always wondered, if Vulcans were so emotionless and disliked Earthlings, why did Spock's father choose to marry one?

Sarek said it was the logical thing to do at the time.

Also It was established that Vulcans do have emotions. They just suppress/control them.

Always did seem like Spock protested a bit too much that he didn't.
