I notice on Amazon that DC and Marvel are putting out a collection of their early crossovers at the end of the year. For awhile now, DC and Marvel have not been willing to do a crossover. Do you think this might mean they are now opening up to the possibility of doing new crossovers?
I would like that if it was true...

How awesome would it be to see a Deadpool/Harley Quinn book?
That could be potentially awesome. Especially if done by Palmiotti/Gray/Conner.
I don't know if we'll see anything anytime soon however. I think there's a ton of bad blood between the TPTB at DC and Marvel in that regard. Still, one could hold out hope.

Well, crap. And here I was hoping the days of spitting their tongues out at one another had finally come to an end. Still holding out hope!

It used to be that a Marvel/DC crossover was such a big event for fans. I don't how such an event would be received in today's fan climate. In the 90s, DC looked to Dark Horse for crossovers (i.e. - Joker/The Mask, Green Lantern vs. Aliens) and really only did an event with Marvel during that time with Marvel vs. DC and the Amalgam Comics line that followed shortly thereafter. The most recent Marvel/DC crossover I can think of was the oft-delayed JLA/Avengers that FINALLY came out around 2003 after about 20 years.
It's cool to fantasize about possible crossover team-ups, but I'm not holding my breath.
