  • I know that when I was buying the collections of the Barry Smith stories the collections were from another publisher. Apparently, Marvel has the rights again. 

  • Dark Horse had Conan for a good many years, and has already reprinted the entire Conan the Barbarian run (although I'm not sure about the Savage Sword of Conan stories.) As you say, looks like Marvel got the rights back to their own stories!

    I don't know if they have access to the Dark Horse stories. DH had several Conan series.

  • It looks to me as if Dark Horse reprinted the Marvel stories when they had the rights, and now Marvel is going to reprint the Dark Horse stories. (The first cover of the solicitation above is the cover of Dark Horse Conan #1.)
