(Note: This is actually something I've posted before. I'm just moving it out here to get it out where it is more immediately visible. It'll probably take a few days for me to re-post it all.)

What I will be attempting is to present a possible timeline for the various Doctor Who stories. Where there is a discrepancy, I will give my rationalization for how I would resolve it. This will occasionally involve arbitrarily ignoring portions of one story or another. When I do this I will try to explain why I have done so. As I have done with the Earth-44 timeline, I will be posting the various eras of history in separate posts, in order to leave room to grow as new stories are added.

I should note that as far as I am concerned, "canon" for Doctor Who consists of the old series, the 1996 TV movie, the new series and "Time Crash". I realize that a strong case can be made for including Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, but since I am unfamiliar with them, I will not attempt to fold them into this timeline.

I have included K-9 and Company, since I have seen that.
