The Sky Book Three contains Amano's sketches and paintings for Final Fantasy VII (1997), VIII (1999), IX (2000), and X (2001), depicting characters such as Zidane Tribal, Garnet Til Alexandros XVII, Adelbert Steiner, Vivi Orunitia, Amarant Coral, Queen Brahne, and many others. Bonuses include a series of silkscreen images done for Final Fantasy VIII, unreleased pen-and-ink sketches of the Gunblade, and designs for the gemlike logo of Final Fantasy IX.
Are there really sufficient numbers of Final Fantasy players willing to part with $75 to buy these three books? I can't imagine anyone who is not a Final Fantasy player being interested, but I also can't imagine sufficient numbers among the players to support three $25 books. I'm baffled how DH expects to make money on these. Maybe CapCom (or whoever) is subsidizing them, just for PR purposes.

The new hit series concludes its first gonzo story arc with a battle royale at the Grand Canyon!
Our undead anti-heroine turned slave-bride Zombie Tramp battles “The King” for her right to shamble on down the road, and not be eternally shackled to a rotting bloated man-pig ... thankyouverymuch! Features a “risqué” variant cover limited to 2,000 copies!
I think every young lad at some point in his life aspires to being the "Harem King." It's just a phase, you'll outgrow it.
I knew I had passed a certain milestone in life the first time I thought about a harem and thought, "How do the women feel about it?"
Predator: Fire & Stone #2; I'll have to wait until all the 'Fire & Stone' issues (Aliens, AvP, Predator & Prometheus) to link everything together, but I am enjoying it so far.
Terminator Salvation-The Final Battle #11; now THAT is a cliffhanger!
And now, to the meat of the meal;
Batman '66 Meets the Green Hornet #6; a great conclusion to the 'sequel' of the original crossover episodes.
Batman '66 The Lost Episode #1; Holy Blackbeard's Treasure, Caped Crusader! (and YES, I said it), This was worth the $9.99. Truly a lost diamond that all Bat-fans would appreciate. My only question would be, What guest-star at the time would make a worth Two-Face?
Captain Comics said:
Are there really sufficient numbers of Final Fantasy players willing to part with $75 to buy these three books?
Most assuredly. Final Fantasy is one of the most popular video game franchises going, and the buying power of video game fans is quite high. I'm more worried about $50 Red Star book coming out. A marginally successful comic that hasn't been seen in about a decade.
But does it bother anybody who isn't a copy editor that the Earth-4 in this issue, like all the other earths in Multiversity, is hyphenated, whereas Earth 2 is not?
Maybe if I paid attention the names of each Earth being explored it would bother me, but I don't, so ii doesn't.
What made this cover one toke over the line? I just don't see where the outrage comes from, outrage that has been utterly absent so far.
Slow news day so The Beat or Bleeding Cool decided to report on it? Then people who are constantly waiting to be outraged took the bait.
Isn't "riding the dragon" a euphemism for heroin use? Just asking. That girl doesn't appear to need any help getting high.
That would be "chasing the dragon"
Earth 2 might not be hyphenated to avoid people confusing it with the pre-Crisis Earth-2.
I noticed the Fred Mirth/Fred Mertz similarity too, Ron. I don't recall Mirth existing before this iteration of Life with Archie, so it seems unlikely the creators would be unaware of the similarity. (Then again, I'm much older than today's creators -- perhaps they didn't grow up with I Love Lucy reruns!)
It's possible the name was used to create a reason for Mirth's company's motto: "The Mirth of a Nation." That pun on the famous movie was also used in Archie's early days as the series motto. Maybe that's all it is.
