Even though issues 1 and 2 didn't overly impress me, I was planning on sticking with Flash: Rebirth out of faith that Geoff Johns would ultimately give me a good story. But issue three today convinced me that...yeah, I'm just not digging this book.

At the same time, Wonder Woman and Runaways remain on the verge for me, dependent on a new storyline and a new creative team, respectively.

I guess, given that I have something like three or four titles I want to find a space for, this could be worse news, but I'm disappointed that I'm not enjoying all these titles more.

Luckily, I've committed to buy a few more of the 3-D covers, so my retirement is secure!

I'm holding on to the JL series because I'm curious as to how the whole CSA story is going to work out.

I'm very curious about it, too -- I actually think a lot of it is pretty well done. I just need to hop off for a while.

The only 3D cover I preordered was the Wonder Woman since it was is one of the few by the regular team, and seemed to be tied into to the main story.

The guy at my LCS jokingly asked me last week, "What kind of speculator are you?"

But those lenticular covers could help fund your retirement, Rob!

I know the house I'm living in was paid for almost entirely by judiciously chosen 90s Harras-era Marvel sales gimmick comics that I bought 10 each of...

I gave Collider/Federal Bureau of Physics two issues, and it didn't quite grab me enough -- though I liked the art. I might check in on it down the line, but I left today's issue on the shelf.

One of the few Vertigo books I'm not reading, at the moment.

I'm done with Thor: God Of Thunder at least for now.  After the whole "Gorr the God Bore" storyline finally played out, I really needed a respite from a long storyline, but I'm not getting one.

I've decided to give up on Wonder Woman. The story has dragged and dragged and I've gotten tired of Wonder Woman being a mix of Game of Thrones and Godfather.

While the last two issues of Thor God of Thunder have been much better, let's just say it's a good thing I read those in the same sitting where I read the last half of "The Accursed" storyline. The last parts of "The Accursed" got so wordy that they started living up to the story's title. In a story filled with such awesome and powerful characters, it was disappointing to have them standing around and talking to each other for 75% of it.

That said, #18 was a fantastic one-off. Incredible artwork, also. Never seen that guy before.

If #18 was five steps up from #17, then #19 was two steps down. Still not quite to the boring-level of "Accursed", but I may wait until this story is collected before deciding on it.

Satellite Sam, Pretty Deadly, and Indestructible Hulk are all books that might get trimmed...Hulk being the most likely. I need to reread PD and Sam to get a better grip on whether I want to continue with them as floppies or wait for trades.

Oh, I'm with you on Hulk. I started off loving that series and eventually found myself trying to like it. Not sure why. I really love Mark Waid as a writer, but this just isn't clicking with me.

I like it -- I started it during the time travel run, and it's perfectly fine. But $4 is a lot to ask.

I agree that it's totally fine. Sadly, I just don't really have the time to read things that are just fine if I know that's what they are. I think it's a really interesting premise and I like the artists they've chosen, but the stories just don't grab me.
