  • It was inevitable. Once I would have cared.

  • Inevitable, yes.  I'll be sad to see Superior go, but as long as Dan Slott is writing it, I am there.  He has been doing outstanding work since being given the reins a few years back.  I'm not a Ramos fan, but that's not a deal breaker by any means.

  • That didn't take long.

  • Maybe they'll (at least partially) undo the Mephisto thing. That would be a way of bringing back a healthy Doc Ock too. Or they can just reboot the whole thing which would undo everything.

  • Keep in mind the link hasn't really stated if this is to happen or not. There's not a lot of news about it on any other sites as well. So this is all speculation and rumor as of now, thus the question mark in the title.

If it's to happen I hope they don't reboot anything. Otto's done a lot of damage to Peter's rep over the last year. So there'll be some interesting stories to come (if it happens) with Peter dealing with the aftermath.

  • I wonder if they'll make a reformed Otto an Avenger.

  • ...The next Ant-Man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • All-New Doctor Octopus the Eight-Armed Avenger #1?

  • Even if Pete comes back it's probably going to a bit depressing for him to realize that Doc Ock took over his life and no one really noticed.

  • Not just that no one noticed but that Otto actually improved some aspects of Peter's life, even though much of that improvement came by crossing lines that Peter wouldn't and without having Peter's overwhelming sense of guilt and self-sacrifice.
