I was watching the Savage/Warrior "retirement" match on disk last night, and it came to the ending where Elizabeth threw Sherri out of the ring, and the thought came to me, "Both of these women are dead now, it's depressing."

And all the AEW wrestlers who wanted out to rejoin Triple H's WWE must be nervous now!

Randy Jackson said:

I Can't imagine Hunter sticking around without Stephanie, but we'll see.

I wouldn't be surprised if AEW isn't licking their chops.

I haven't watched WWE regularly in years, but I am very interested to see how all of this plays out.

RIP "Leaping" Lanny Poffo, a,k,a "The Genius, the World's Smartest Man", and younger brother of the late Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

I saw him wrestle years ago at the old Boston Garden.  As I recall, he jobbed to Pete Doherty, "The Duke of Dorchester".

Story

He was one of the firsts that I enjoyed his turn from face to heel. I loved his poms on the frisbees. I also learned, he worked fir the WWF (WWE) to support his family's regional wrestling bit.

Jerry Jarrett has died  I mostly knew of him as the father of Jeff, but I gather he was an influential promoter back in the days of the territories and was instrumental in Jerry Lawler becoming "The King"..

Interesting fact -  when Vince McMahon the Younger thought that he might go to jail over steroids, he brought the elder Jarrett in with the idea that he'd run the WWF while Vince was inside. In the end, Vince walked, so it never happened, but it's one of wrestling's great "What Ifs".
