I was in about the seventh grade when It's Garry Shandling's Show started on Fox. I remember thinking that was the funniest thing I had seen in so long. It wasn't like any other show at the time or really anything since.

That was the early days of Fox, and I saw It's Garry Shandling's Show only once or twice. I didn't have HBO, so I've never seen The Larry Sanders Show and know it only by reputation (and the fact that I went to high school with Penny Jerald Johnson's sister).
