We get belated word of the passing of another member of The Legion of "Hey, It's That Guy!" Character Actors.

From the Los Angeles Times obituary section: Mario Roccuzzo. There's a little more about him at his Wikipedia page, here.

Roccuzzo switched from songwriting to acting, and had the kind of mug that lent itself to roles in crime dramas like The Untouchables, although he eventually branched out to comedy and even was on Star Trek: The Next Generation at least once.

Roccuzzo also was a member of what might be called "The Barney Miller Repertory Company", which included Don Calfa, Florence Halop, Richard Libertini, Alex Henteloff, Peggy Pope, Bruce Kirby, Walter Olkewicz, Val Bisoglio and others.
