Another one of the old legends gone. Apparently, Bruno Mars was named after him.

A tough man whose accomplishments will never be matched.

Even when Hulk Hogan was champion, the WWF still relied on Bruno's star power!

He lived an amazing life, even as a boy - evading the Nazis in Italy during WWII and then coming to America, where he thought the streets were literally paved with gold.  Sure, it was a different era, but Philip is right - accomplishments like nearly 200 sellouts at MSG, and the amount of years, even the sheer number of days,  he reigned as champion will never be surpassed.  I'm glad he and the WWE patched up their differences so he could go into their Hall of Fame in 2013; his absence from it was a glaring hole before then.  And I'm glad I got to see him wrestle on TV and videos in the 1980s when even a bit past his prime, his charisma was undeniable.  RIP Bruno.
