Story  Ah, shame. Sadly, the only thing I own with him in it is Teenage Caveman, which I don't think he'd want to be remembered by.

Very sad to read this. Man From UNCLE was huge at my grade school - it was the first time the boys and the girls found a common interest as we gathered in a group to discuss each episode the day after it aired. We also shared and swapped UNCLE trading cards, books and comics. I realize he had numerous other roles but to me he will always be Napoleon Solo, our man from UNCLE.

Thanks for all the great memories Mr Vaughn - rest in peace.

And, of course, we can't forget his performance as Lex Luthor in Superman III.

What's that? The character he played was named "Ross Webster"? He was Luthor in all but name, and would have been Luthor if Gene Hackman had been enticed to come back.
