Not too long ago, Randy led a discussion on the James Bond oeuvre: "Watching Them James Bond Films"

Ah, shame.

At least he had a long life.

I always think about him in his later films rather than James Bond.

Not exactly the first. Sean Connery was the first in cinema, yes.

Here's the first live-action adaptation of an 007 story: the "Casino Royale" episode of the 1954 drama anthology Climax!, starring Barry Nelson (an American!) as James "Jimmy" Bond of the "C.I.A." (Combined Intelligence Agency).

Yeah, did you ever see that episode? 

I repeat: "The first and still the best."
