I saw the last episode and a HYDRA team was running down the corridor of a hotel and you could clearly see the HYDRA symbol on their backs. Since HYDRA is supposed to be out of business shouldn't they take the patches off if they want to keep a low profile?

  • The idea that Hydra has patches AT ALL is ridiculous. I love that they put their logo everywhere, down to their filing folders. They're a very brand-conscious evil organization.

  • Still it's an ego driven organization, that logo is their god symbol. I found it more puzzling when SHIELD had a logo on things when no one was supposed to know that it existed.

  • Do you mean recently, or before the Hydra takeover? Because SHIELD's been no secret for a long while... there's a big academy, so logo jackets & such were no biggie.

  • I thought in the first Avenger movie they were secret for some reason, if they weren't I wasn't sure why they hid the helicarier with the reflection plates.

  • I think it's a little ridiculous that SHIELD is a pretty overt covert operation themselves, considering that they have their own logo on everything and everything on that show.
