Techno Comix

I recently bought a couple bagged sets of Techno Comix back issues (and some other Nineties stuff) at a thrift shop , 1-15 of LEONARD NIMOY'S PRIMORTALS and 1-7 of GENE RODDENBERRY'S LOST UNIVERSE .

This company dealt , as you can see , in buying (outright) concepts by genre names and publishing them ~ As best as I can acertain from Wiki , a comic titled EURO JACK may have been a non-name creation , but then again ,  a suprisingly large number of the Tekno titles have no Wiki entry whatsoever !

Tekno had some money behind it , obviously ~ The impr4ession they made on me was from the fact that , in Croton-On-Hudson , New York , I/my family's home in that time , they somehow got their comics stocked in the magazine rack at the local 7-11 clone !

They actually tended to double up on the name usage ~ Primortals also credited , on the cover , Issac Asimov for some contribution , and IIRC Asimov's I-BOTS also credited George Perez as a creator , and Lost Universe credited both Majel Barrett and D.C. Fontana as expanding the concept , though not on the cover .
