  • So, I just read Luke Cage: Noir #1, and it is far and away the best so far in this line.

Unlike the other Noir books (except for Spider-Man), this book seems to have really taken the essence of the character, and placed him into a different time. Luke Cage seems made for Prohibition Era stories. The art is also the best so far from the line. While using a lot of blacks and darks colors, this issue didn't have the muddied look that some of the others had.

Check it out if you have a spare $4.

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! It's a pretty lame website, but I did it myself, so tough noogies

Listen to WOXY.com, it's the future of rock-n-roll!

  • I tried to read the X-men Noir but quit after 2 issues. It was working for me. The Spider-man one was quite good. It's worth checking out. After that I decided to pass on the rest of the Noir titles.
