It's that time of year again!
Continuing the tradition started by Doctor Hmmm? back in 2010, and followed inconsistently since (2011201320142015201620172018, 2019 and 2020), here's a catchall thread about any and all shows debuting or returning this fall, with an emphasis on the shows that don't generate their own threads.

As the season winds down, the networks made their calls for what's coming back, and the results aren't pretty for a lot of shows.

From Deadline: "‘United States of Al’ Canceled By CBS After 2 Seasons" also, "‘B Positive’ Canceled By CBS After 2 Seasons"

From The Hollywood Reporter"‘Kenan,’ ‘Mr. Mayor,’ ‘The Endgame’ Canceled at NBC"

Also from The Hollywood Reporter"‘Charmed,’ ‘Dynasty’ Among Cancellations at The CW"

Here's The Hollywood Reporter's running list: Broadcast TV Scorecard 2022: What's New, Renewed and Canceled (So Far)"

Also at CBS, per The Hollywood Reporter"‘Magnum P.I.’ Among Four Cancellations at CBS"

This seems almost illegal, for CBS not to have a Hawaii-based show on its lineup.

Deadline explains what's behind the housecleaning at the CW: " Upfronts 2022: The CW Downsizes As It Faces Transitional Year Amid Ownership Change & Business Strategy Shift"

TV Line looks at the housecleaning: "TV Bloodbath: 17 Shows Cancelled in 48 Hours — Which Cut Hurt the Most?"

And here's its handy-dandy list to what did and didn't survive: "2022 Renewal/Cancellation Scorecard: What's Coming Back? What's Already Axed? What's Still on the Bubble?"

I hope they don't cancel Stargirl.

No word yet that I can find, one way or the other.

It occurs to me that Stargirl has a different situation. It is a streaming show that is rebroadcast on The CW. This should make it less likely to be dropped.

Maybe so. The rampant housecleaning at The CW makes me wonder what's going to be left to put on the air next season.

Speaking of housecleaning at The CW, per TVLine: "Riverdale to End With Season 7 at CW, to Premiere in 2023"
