As far as I know, mine is from Feb'55-- FOUR COLOR #614 (it was a gift!).
The 1950's did have their moments.
Was Veronica ever not sexy?
In a word: No.
The oldest comic I own? I think it's a coverless issue of Strange Tales from 1960.
Oldest comic I own?
All-Flash #3 (Summer 1941).
Felix the Cat #39 March 1953...predates me by 20 years.
It's like a time machine in a way. The adds especially.
I have some Fawcett comics.
I think the oldest comic I own right now is DOLL MAN No. 2 (Spring '42). But this could always change.
When a friend moved into a new house, he found this comic in the attic, and gave it to me.
I think its the oldest one I own.
Sadly it is slightly nibbled in the corners by whatever creatures were domiciled in the attic. It'd be poetic if it were bats, but I don't think so.
I've never read it, perhaps because of the nibbling...
