Wonder Woman #759

It’s a brand new day for Wonder Woman! Beginning this June, Mariko Tamaki (Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass, Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me) begins writing DC’s Wonder Woman!

"Writing for comics is pretty much a dream job, full stop,” says Tamaki, the Eisner Award-winning writer of This One Summer. “It's pretty fricking cool. Wonder Woman was the hero I grew up with, she was my little-kid-living-room-cosplay. I have always wanted a golden lasso and an invisible jet, and I feel like now, writing Wonder Woman, I'm one step closer."

It all kicks off in Wonder Woman #759 on June 10, written by Tamaki with art by Mikel Janín. This first issue in Tamaki’s run will feature a cover by David Marquez and a card stock variant cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams
In this new story arc, Diana starts to pick up the pieces of her life following her battle with the Four Horsewomen. Man’s world has become more complicated to navigate than ever before! A familiar threat is watching Diana’s every move, and now is the perfect time to strike…

With that new beginning, Tamaki and Janín are just getting started! Their next issue, Wonder Woman #760, features the return of Maxwell Lord! Wonder Woman’s quest to bring justice to man’s world has seen her take on many devastating opponents—but none so vicious as Maxwell Lord! Max represents the worst that humanity has to offer...so when he shows up at Diana’s doorstep seeking help, what’s a warrior for the truth to do? Wonder Woman #760 will hit shelves June 24 with a cover by David Marquez and a card stock variant cover by Joshua Middleton.

PORTLAND, Ore. 07/03/2020 — Die #11, from bestselling writer Kieron Gillen (Ludocrats, The Wicked + The Divine) and Stephanie Hans, is being rushed back to print by Image Comics in order to keep up with overwhelming demand. This issue kicks off the third story arc in the wildly popular, dark fantasy series.

Half the party is ruling a whole empire. The other half is on the run. Neither has it easy. There is nothing easy in this game, especially when the stakes get shockingly real. The most epic arc of Die begins as it means to go on: messily.

Die #11, second printing (Diamond Code APR208893) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, July 29.

Die is also available for purchase across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play.

Lost Soldiers #1 (of 5)

PORTLAND, Ore. — Bestselling writer/co-creator Aleš Kot (Zero, The New World), artist Luca Casalanguida, and Heather Moore team up for a gritty, all-new military action story in Lost Soldiers. The five-issue miniseries will launch from Image Comics this July.

"The world needs bad men willing to do bad things so the world can stay good. That's the story we tell ourselves so often, right?” said Kot. “Lost Soldiers is what happens when you buy into that idea so much that it becomes a curse. This is not a nihilistic story. But it is unflinching about the consequences of our actions. It spells them out in blood and pain and loss. And maybe, if you're lucky, a sliver of hope."

Set during both Vietnam in 1969, and Juarez, forty years later, Lost Soldiers follows three men tied by the war they left behind—and on a collision course with a new one.

Lost Soldiers #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, July 29.

Pulp OGN

PORTLAND, Ore. — The multiple Eisner Award winning creative powerhouse behind such hits as My Heroes Have Always Been Junkies and Bad Weekend—Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips—are back with twice the content in the forthcoming original graphic novel tale of ’30s era crime—Pulp—and the upcoming Criminal collected edition Cruel Summer. Both graphic novel hardcovers will be available from Image Comics this Summer, in July and August respectively.

A darkly mysterious meditation on a life of violence, Pulp is unlike anything the award-winning team of Brubaker and Phillips have ever done. A celebration of pulp fiction, set in a world on the brink. It follows Max Winters, a pulp writer in 1930s New York, who finds himself drawn into a story not unlike the tales he churns out at 5 cents a word—tales of a wild west outlaw dispensing justice with a six-gun. But will Max be able to do the same, when pursued by bank robbers, Nazi spies, and enemies from his past? Find out in this must-have thriller from one of comics’ most acclaimed creative teams, perfect for fans of The Fade Out and Criminal.

Pulp hardcover edition (ISBN: 978-1-5343-1644-7) will be available on Wednesday, July 29 and in bookstores on Tuesday, August 4. It can be pre-ordered at your local comic book shop or independent bookstore, or on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, IndieBound, and Indigo.
