I was looking through some old comics when I thought of a new game. I call it Three of a Kind. Here's my first entry.

Using the war wheel in Tomahawk is a head-scratcher. They didn't even have ironclad ships back then.

The first two of these turned up (separately) last month on "A Cover a Day", when the theme was "Giants".

I like those!  Poor Swee'pea!

Another triptych...

Super characters in red union suits.

Scribbly and the Red  tornado Archives? Volume 2!? That must be some kind of a mock-up, yes?

I think that must be the case.  I was searching for a cover with Ma Henkel and that’s what I found.  Here is volume 1.

Are there any real comic book covers with the Golden Age Red Tornado?

Hmm... that's a toughie. I can think of a Red Tomato, er... Red Tornado solo story from JSA 80-Page Giant, but she wasn't cover-featured.

There's this one, which is a legitimate "Archive" edition, but it wouldn't really "suit" your purposes.

It stands for "hope." Or something.
