  • Links! Where are the links, man?!?

  • There were four trailers before Green Lantern. Immortals, Conan, and that new Jennifer Aniston movie all looked really bad. Harry Potter looks like a great end to an epic story.

    Immortals

    Conan the Barbarian

    Horrible Bosses

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2

  • THere wasn't a Conan trailer when I saw Green Lantern but I've seen the trailer. I thought it looked pretty good. If you've seen Game of Thrones on HBO, Jason Momoa who plays Khal Drago in Games of Thrones is ideal for Conan, imo.

Immortals looks OK. I'm seeing it because the new Superman is in it.

Horrible Bosses looks funny to me.

The Harry Potter movie looks good, too.

There was a trailer for a movie called Moneyball starring Brad Pitt. It's about the General Manager of the Oakland Athletics and his new approach and getting quality players on a budget. It's a drama.Trailer

I sometimes spend time just watching movie trailers. So I'll be updating this thread, frequently.

  • Here's a comparison between the new Conan trailer and that for Schwarzenegger's 1982 effort.
  • Ah, but which Muppets trailer?  There's been a series extracting the namesake from current hit movies...
  • When I saw the beginning of the Moneyball trailer, my first thought was, "They're remaking Major League? Without Charlie Sheen?"

I used to listen to WOXY.com; It was the future of rock-n-roll! RIP WOXY

  • From the trailers I saw...wake me when Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and Fright Night hit theaters in August.  Those two, along with the new Muppet Movie this November, are the final 2011 theater movies I'm really, really excited to see.

Thor, Cap, and X-Men I'll probably see via Netflix or blu-ray. One movie I missed this summer and may see if it's still playing in a few weeks is Bridesmaids.

2012...now THERE'S the comic/movie fan dream year: The end of Nolan's Batman story, a new Amazing Spider-Man (without U2 songs), and Joss Whedon's Avengers (we're watching Firefly again and missing it terribly).  I love Superman films...but this new one has me more worried than excited.  I really don't need another Superman Returns letdown.
