Vulture.com, the features arm of New York magazine, has a long profile of Christopher Priest, the writer whose take on the Black Panther -- he's not a superhero, he's a king -- made him a serious player in the Marvel Universe.
I"m glad to get all that info in one place. I've heard various bombs go off over Priest's career, but never had a handle on what, exactly, happened/is happening.
And glad to have him back, for however long!
Good article. I have a new respect for Christopher Priest after seeing him on Robert Kirkman's Secret History of Comics. I didn't like the early issues of Priest's Black Panther, but that was more due to Mark Texiera's art than the writing. I may need to give it a second look.
