THE BIG BANG THEORY has been running a long time now , and , indeed , I suppose it's kind of at the " winding down " stage as a new series ~ But between that and various kinds of syndicated/cable reruns , it's all over the TV dial !
TBBT , of course , humorously portrays fans ~ they are Star Trek/Wars obsessives , Sheldon constantly (even in promo pics) wears a Green Lantern T-shirt ~ But what about Eminem's DJ Green Lantern , back in the 00s ? ~ Um , what do you think the effect of TBBT's portrayal of fans (maybe not quite Magic Marker-outlined as " Comics fans ! " , I suppose ???) is ~ on " our " image in the world ? On fandom's opinion of itself ? On pizza delivery prices , especially with garlic or meatballs ? Discuss .
