"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." -Groucho Marx

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! It's a pretty lame website, but I did it myself, so tough noogies

Listen to WOXY.com, it's the future of rock-n-roll!

In a news article I read:

"Shortly after the second complaint, Merced went to Euless City Hall and asked for a permit that would allow him to perform animal sacrifices. City staff said no such permit existed."

It is a good article though regarding religious freedom, but the above made me laugh.
The girls continuing to sing the Music Meister song from last week's Brave & Bold cartoon...

Does he have a pet fish named "Eric"?
My friend's Facebook update: "Apparently everyone in town gets gas at 5:58pm"

so many jokes came to mind, my head almost exploded.
Two things today:

1. I saw someone driving an old Checker Cab down Poplar Avenue in Memphis.

2. There's a coffee shop at the corner of Poplar Avenue and Perkins Road Extended called "Poplar Perk'n."
Don Collett back on the air!
The thing that has made me smile today, and each day since Thanksgiving morning, has been the new Beanworld graphic novel, Remember Here When You Are There! I read it in one sitting Thursday morning, and I've been all aglow since!

It was my son's fourth birthday yesterday. I'm gathering the tools required to put together his new wagon. As I'm doing this he is standing beside me with his toy guitar slung low. Feet spread out in that classic rocker stance and strumming away. Suddenly he starts singing as loud as he can: "You got to wok and woll, you got to wok and woll" =P

Wok on, daddy!
It snowed actual snow today. Of course it had all melted off by 1 or so...
