"The Bunker: Change the Past, Change the Future I look at writer Joshua Hale Fialkov and artist Joe Infurnari's creator-owned series for Oni Press. It began in 2014, but the fourth and final collection just came out in 2017."

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Captain Comics's discussion 'Stranger Things' Season 2
"I've never gotten used to the binging idea, either. Watching two episodes in a row is as close as i get. As Doc says, I'm not in a rush for the experience to end."

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Captain Comics's discussion Morrison's 'Happy!' brings Nick Sax's disgusting life to Syfy
"I agree about the comic: I thought it was Morrison trying too hard to be Garth Ennis. But I think the first episode was an absolute hoot. Both Meloni and Oswalt were perfect in their roles. It's worth watching just to see them interact."

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Wandering Sensei: Moderator Man's discussion What Comic Books Have You Read Today?
"Wrapping up the collection, the third and final story is the four-issue miniseries "We Will Bury You." Written by Brea Grant and Zane Grant, art by Kyle Strahm and colors by Zac Atkinson, it is a historical zombie tale set in New York in…"

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Jeff of Earth-J's discussion Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics
"I enjoyed the Superman and Milestone Media segments in particular. I have a basic disagreement with the 9/11 show's premise: I don't believe it "changed comics forever." It had a brief impact, then things went back to the status…"

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Wandering Sensei: Moderator Man's discussion What Comic Books Have You Read Today?
"This weekend I read The Bunker Vol. 1-3, which leaves just one more volume in the series. I plan to write a blog entry on the whole thing. But I will say that there are still plenty of open questions at the end of the third volume. Anxious to see…"

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Wandering Sensei: Moderator Man's discussion What Comic Books Have You Read Today?
"The second story collects the five-issue miniseries "The Last Resort," written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, illustrated by Giancarlo Caracuzzo. As the title implies, it's about a zombie outbreak at an island resort. It's a…"

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Jeff of Earth-J's discussion Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics
"I saw the first one, which was fine. There just really wasn't anything in it I didn't already know, and I'm not even a Marvel fan. And part of the second one. I knew something about Marsten's history, but there were details I…"

"I really liked The Bunker, too. Just this week I noticed that it was up to Vol. 4 in the collections! One of my libraries has them all. I intend to re-read Vol. 1 (it's been years now since I first read it) and the rest of them soon."

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to Captain Comics's discussion 'The Punisher' Season 1

Mark Sullivan (Vertiginous Mod) replied to The Baron's discussion Movies I Have Seen Lately

Heroes Convention 2009

Matt Brady of Newsarama attempted to moderate, with limited success (at one point Fraction turned a question around and basically interviewed Brady instead of the other way around). These writers all know each other, and had a good time tossing the questions around,… Continue

Thanks, Mark. Just clearing up a question a friend made of me about the review of Don Quixote (I'm NOT that Rob Davis). This looks like a fun place, though I doubt I'll have much time to visit often.
