"I've never heard of the character, either. But apparently she does come from existing Supergirl continuity--whatever that means nowadays--so that's something."

Instrumental by trumpeter/cartoonist Dave Chisholm

Instrumental Dave Chisholm Z2 Comics, 2017With Instrumental trumpeter/composer/cartoonist Dave Chisholm presents a black and white morality tale about a struggling young trumpeter and bandleader--with an accompanying soundtrack. There have been previous instances of visual/musical collaborations: I think of Alan Moore's The Birth Caul (and other "workings") that involved spoken word and music, in some…See More

"That goes to the pacing, I think. In collected form I wasn't as aware of the sparseness, but I was still surprised when it ended rather abruptly. Too bad you gave up before the end, though, because things really did happen!"

Heroes Convention 2009

Posted on June 19, 2009 at 11:26pm 2 Comments

Thanks, Mark. Just clearing up a question a friend made of me about the review of Don Quixote (I'm NOT that Rob Davis). This looks like a fun place, though I doubt I'll have much time to visit often.
