Michael R. Neno replied to John Dunbar (the mod of maple)'s discussion Paul Pope: Comment taken out of context, doesn't accurately reflect my relationship with DC
"I think Paul's THB series was all-ages. I can appreciate Paul wanting to clear the air about the controversy, but the fact is the conversation he had with DC was in 2005 and, if anything, DC's policies have only gotten worse since then in…"

Michael R. Neno replied to Jason Marconnet (Pint sized mod)'s discussion That Music Thread
"I listen to a ton of varied music and podcasts every day when I draw. Today, for example, I listened to Scritti Politti's Anomie and Bonhomie, a '50s Decca LP of Leroy Anderson conducting his own compositions, The Beatles Anthology 2 and…"

Michael R. Neno replied to Kirk G's discussion Unauthorized Uses of Comic Images
"I think the internet, Reddit, blogs, Facebook and all the rest have really changed the rules of the game, making "fair use" intellectual property laws almost perpetually out of date. Entire sections of the internet would be decimated if…"

Michael R. Neno replied to Richard Mantle's discussion Fantastic Four Questions
"I have fond memories of him simply because he was in a lot of the first Fantastic Four stories I read as a kid. He was a likeable character, good friends with Johnny and a favorable (as opposed to cliched) portrayal of an American Indian."

Michael R. Neno replied to Richard Mantle's discussion Fantastic Four Questions
"Here's a Fantastic Four question: why did Marvel cheat me out of $3? I bought what I thought was Fantastic Four #5, took it home and read it. It turns out there were two issues of FF #5 and the copy I bought was a completely needless Age of…"

"I liked it much better than I thought it would. I didn't mind the absence of Jimmy Olson because the movie is only setting up Clark Kent's world. It would make sense for Jimmy to finally appear in the next film. I liked the logical…"

Rob Staeger (Grodd Mod) replied to Michael R. Neno's discussion Batman #18 - Can Someone Explain?
"Yeah... I think they were torn between clarity and a picture of Batman hitting Harper in the face that would circle the Internet 30 times before breakfast. Clarity lost. "
