Wednesday I'm flying to Denver, but that ship doesn't set sail until 3:20pm, so that gives me plenty of time to stop on my way for some airport reading for the extra-long weekend.
BATGIRL #11 As I've said recently, I accidentally got into this series recently because of the Night of Owls story (when I bought #10 instead of #9, ended up loving it, bought #9, loved it just as much...). Now I can't wait to read Batgirl. Never thought I'd say that about a story where one of the best-developed characters in comics suddenly got her legs back and became just like every single other Bat-character. Nice, Simone.
BATMAN #11 Conclusion! What's next?

BLOODSHOT (ONGOING) #1 I'll give this one a try. I never read any Valiant, save one issue of Archer and Armstrong I bought way back when; don't remember a thing. But I liked Harbinger enough to give this a try. They're 50/50 between that and X-0 Mano-snore, so I'll give this the ol' one-issue try.
KIRBY GENESIS #8 Yeah! Crazy Jack Kirby-inspired gods and other kooky characters all interacting in much the same way as Jimmy Olsen, a bunch of scientists and their clone sons, and a whole lot of crazy alien Kirby-created gods did back in the 70's. So good. So confusing.
PUNK ROCK JESUS #1 (OF 6) (MR) I'm there for you, Punk Rock Jesus. "You had me at Sean Murphy." (INSERT: Me, with tears in my eyes and puffed-out, quivering lips) "...You had me at Sean Murphy."
SHADE #10 (OF 12) "Shut up. You just--you had me at Fraser Irving..." (Okay, you all get the idea...)
SPIDER-MEN #3 (OF 5) Underwhelming, but not horrible. Should I really buy this? Maybe I won't.
WOLVERINE AND X-MEN #13 AVX Should be okay. It's written by Jason Aaron, at least.
I rather liked Massive myself. The story moved forward while still telling us what went on the past.
Massive #2 is another maybe for me. Like Harbinger, it didn't entirely grab me with the first issue but I might give it a second anyway.
