That's...more data than I have time to process right now.

Is there a Cliff's Notes version somewhere? :)

Closest thing to a summary I've seen is this story at Comic Book Resources.

Hedi seems to be a bit concerned about the Vertigo imprint. None of the articles I've read about the restructuring have even mentioned Vertigo, and yet Heidi felt the need to point out that Karen Berger now has to report directly to Dan Didio, and that the two of them don't really like one another. She also makes a point that Berger's husband seems to be losing a lot of power in the company. It makes me wonder if she's heard some rumblings about the imprint's future.

That's funny, I get the opposite impression. The official press releases mention Vertigo and Wildstorm, and there are projects like the movie version of The Losers coming out soon. I'll have to read through the recent postings on The Beat.

I won't have an opinion until I read everyone else's...

One of the reports mentions The Outsiders in a list of DiDio's great successes.

Wha?

That comic slipped completely under my radar for years and by the time I knew it existed, it was in a tailspin downwards.

I'm sure he's a great guy, but is Jim Lee really all that from a comics point of view?

Didn't he shepherd the Wildstorm heroes from being the breakout successes of the late 90s to being the nonentities they now are? Chris has ruminated on their decline and fall several times in his blog.

So...what was the first shoe if this is the "other" shoe?

The restructuring of DC to "DC Entertainment" or whatever a few months back -- Paul Levitz leaving his job and all that...

*Ahem* I have to point out that if there is a press release, we have it, and there's no need to link to Newsarama. OK, team?

Here's the link.
