In...honor?...of the skip week, my LCS is having a sale this week. Which he was kind enough to extend to me when I was there Saturday. Yeah none of those above are for me though.

We're having a sale too.

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! It's a pretty lame website, but I did it myself, so tough noogies

Listen to WOXY.com, it's the future of rock-n-roll!

DC's house ads (in last week's books) for Blackest Night #6 say that it comes out this week. Not true, I take it?

I think Blackest Night #6 shipped last week, with retailer instructions not to sell it until this week. At least, that's how I understand it to have worked. Perhaps Dags can clarify?

My LCS is having a sale, too, but I have so much stuff in my pull & hold (and so much on the shelves I didn't pre-order) I never have a "light week" anymore.

Well, if comics are going to skip a week, I can too. These days I have to save as much as I can and go only when there's at least two of my mothnly titles in at a time. Fortunately, my FLCS is only a $1.50 bus ride away. :D

I don't think I'd go in for a Marvel 2010 calendar anyway.

Only "participating stores" got BN#6 last week, for you're-gonna-regret-it-if-you-release-it-before-December 30 release.

It was easy to opt in, but I can imagine there are stores that didn't.

I have my copies hermetically sealed in an undisclosed location.

I'll be picking up Blackest Night #6, plus the comics that came in for me on the 16th and 23rd.

Marvel has sent a "Siege" prologue comic and a 2010 calendar to participating comic shops. I'll be going in for those, plus some backing boards.

I find a comicbook with a SOSD (strict on sale date) very interesting. This is a very common practice with novels and other "regular" books but it's the first time I've heard of it being done with a comic.
