DC COMICS

House Of Mystery #33, $2.99
I Zombie #9, $2.99
Madame Xanadu Volume 3 Broken House Of Cards TP, $17.99
Sweet Tooth #17, $2.99

Waits on everything.  The way my job search is going, I could still be unemployed when Madame Xanadu Vol. 4 comes out :(

Oh, also Freedom Fighters. Didn't see that one!

STEEL #1  I will buy this one as long as, after flipping through it in the comic shop, I discover that they are not using this one-shot to kill Steel. It is leading into Doomsday whatever, and I can see this being like the big "shock" that will lead into it and give Superman further motivation to take down Doomsday. Blech. Just because you can't figure out to do with him doesn't mean you KILL him. Let's hope I'm wrong!

I doubt very much that Steel is getting the bum's rush, given the internet storm during the year regarding DC's record recently with minority characters.

Don't see it happening.

Jeff, don't take this the wrong way but I hope you're wrong, too.

That's a nice light week after a big haul over the holidays.

I'm also a maybe on Adventure Comics #522 and I might flip through shelf copies of Batman Beyond and Steel #1

Adventure Comics, Doom Patrol, and probably Jonah Hex. I'll probably be leaving Next Men #2 on the shelf.. I enjoyed the first issue, but felt it didn't quite justify the $3.99 price tag.

BATMAN BEYOND #1 Sweet, already! I figured they'd announce the book about nine months before it actually got its start...this is quite refreshing!
