A couple years ago, I started reading indie comics as much as I did the titles from the mainstream. Boy, am I glad that I did. I went for their quirky ideas that one may not have read as stories in the mainstream comic books. That included their takes on superhero fantasy (Normalman, Spandex Tights and Humongous man to name a few). I am glad to see that indie titles (Ghostworld, American Splendour & Scott Pilgrim Versus The World) are appearing in cinemas. I would be interested to watch them appear as microfilms as well. I know that a fan film was done for Powers and Henchman.

Are there any indie comics that you would like to see appear on screen or even done as short films?

Oh, and I've been waiting for years for someone to adapt PC's Twisted Tales into a series.

With the leaps in CG movie tech and the success of the Transformers, I've often thought the time is ripe for a movie adaptation of First Comics Dynamo Joe.

Speaking of First, I'd also like to see a movie made of the play Warp! which was the basis of First's comic of the same name. I've never seen the play, and there's damn precious info about it out there on the web.

I remember reading Spandex Tights. I enjoyed the series. Barry Ween would HAVE to be a late night show on, perahps Adult Swim? Are there any mini- comics that you would like to see considered for airing on film?
